What is Bionic Banana Hand?
The Bionic Banana Hand is a quirky, parody, and original story set in a super-powered world. It's a story about an unlikely hero breaking into the pro-hero scene. He is new in town and is about to learn what a hero really is.

Superpowers are a common thing among the people of Earth. With so many varieties of powers, a new order was set in place to govern all these people. A new police force, terrifying in scope and lethal in practice.

Bionic Banana Hand, or Ben for short is our hero. With his cybernetic arm, adorned with a banana instead of a hand, he intends to become a hero, just like his own personal heroes, in the massive metropolis of Sparrow City.
MEET THE Author/ARTIST
Prova and Rook, a pair of unlikely nerds, embarked on the adventure that has become Bionic Banana Hand in 2018. The comic has evolved from a silly joke into a complex and often offensive joke. With Bionic Banana Hand, we have a dream of making a vast and engaging world, littered with interesting characters, all the while doing so in an artistic and nerdy way.

Prova originally invented the Bionic Banana Hand character while early on in college. Being a very original and creative person, he proceeded to make a joke absolutely no one had ever made before: he placed a banana up his sleeve and claimed it was his hand. This stroke of genius comedic placement and timing connected one ridiculous concept to another, and thus Bionic Banana Hand; Savior of the Monkey Kingdom came to life, for the first time in drawing form in 2014.

Prova is a lifelong artist and huge dork, and has made both into his passion and career focus. He is seeking higher education in an effort to better his craft in just about every way. Highly inspired by shows such as My Hero Academia, One Punch Man, and Dragon Ball Z, he hopes to craft a fantastic hero story just as great as those he loves.
Rook is a former wage slave struggling to sell books and pretending he is a real writer. He graduated with a borderline useless degree in Creative Writing and began his exit of the corporate world. After writing his first book with a dangerously insane co-author (eg. Aaron Knabb), he began to wonder if there weren’t some way of putting pictures in his books. Seeing that he had a brother named Prova who liked to draw things, Rook jumped at his chance.

Rook and Prova are working hard to make this comic a reality. Prova does most of the artistic work, going full director mode, while Rook handles all of the script-writing, typography, and most recently, the backgrounds.

We plan to always keep this comic free, however may look for ad revenue in the future, as well as a patreon, including benefits for backers. We hope you stick with us for this journey of odd heroes!
